PURPOSE: Authorize the lodging-tax Hotel-Motel Funding Agreement between Snohomish County and the Lodging Tax Advisory Committee (LTAC) endorsed project, Washington State Scholastic Esports Association - 2026 Spring State Championships at an amount of not to exceed $15,000.
BACKGROUND: On February 18, 2026, Snohomish County Council approved the 2026 Local Hotel/Motel Fund Round 1 Grants Expenditure Plan, which included funding thirty-one projects at the levels recommended by the Snohomish County Lodging Tax Advisory Committee (LTAC). The attached contract (P-26-15) has a value of $15,000 and is within the Executive’s authority to execute without further Council involvement as a result of its approval per Motion 26-054. This agreement uses a boilerplate format that has been developed with, and reviewed by, both Prosecuting Attorney and Risk Management staff
