PURPOSE: Authorize the lodging-tax Hotel-Motel Funding Agreement between Snohomish County and the Lodging Tax Advisory Committee (LTAC) endorsed project, Greater Everett Chamber of Commerce - 2026 Everett United Small Business Activation at an amount of not to exceed $10,000.
BACKGROUND: On January 9, 2026, Snohomish County Council approved the 2026 Local Hotel/Motel Fund Grants Expenditure Plan, which included funding eighteen (18) projects at the levels recommended by the Snohomish County Lodging Tax Advisory Committee (LTAC). The attached contract (P-26-06) has a value of $10,000 and is within the Executive’s authority to execute without further Council involvement as a result of its approval per Motion 26-054. This agreement uses a boilerplate format that has been developed with, and reviewed by, both Prosecuting Attorney and Risk Management staff.
