PURPOSE: To sign an agreement with LISC Puget Sound for facilitation of the Fiscal Sustainability Task Force.
BACKGROUND: Snohomish County is undertaking steps to plan for long-term fiscal sustainability. The County has started a Fiscal Sustainability Task Force to bring together community leaders to examine the County’s current financial issues, identify near-term actions, and build a shared foundation for future strategies. By engaging stakeholders across sectors, Snohomish County is demonstrating a commitment to transparency, education, and collaborative problem-solving that will strengthen both the County’s fiscal outlook and its ability to meet community needs. LISC Puget Sound will provide consulting, facilitation, project and meeting management, and communications services to Snohomish County.
