PURPOSE: Approval of Amendment No. 1 to the License and Maintenance Agreement with Community Transit relating to the Operation and Maintenance of Cathcart Park & Ride Facility
BACKGROUND: The County owns the property at 14806 Hwy 9 SE, Snohomish, WA, which Community Transit operates as the Cathcart Park & Ride. The original agreement was executed May 24, 2025 for an unspecified term until such time that both parties terminate the agreement. In the agreement, Community Transit is identified as being responsible for all costs to procure and install security cameras. However, under previous discussions, the Public Works Department had committed to the cost to procure security cameras and included this expense in the project budget. This amendment correctly reallocates the cost to procure cameras to Snohomish County, which will be paid in a lump sum to Community Transit.
