PURPOSE: To obtain Executive approval of Change Order 36 to Marpac Construction.
BACKGROUND: The County and Marpac Construction entered into an agreement on December 18th, 2024, for the construction phase of the New Start Center of Everett. The door hardware specifications in the bid specifications did not include the encoder necessary to control the door locks and program the key cards. The bid drawings did not include painting the exterior sides of the residential doors. The doors will last longer if repainted. The pool pump shed has been removed. After removal of the shed, drainage patterns in the area have changed to create a pond at the base of the stairs. The change order provides for an area drain to mitigate the ponding and ice.
