PURPOSE: Authorize the lodging-tax Hotel-Motel Funding Agreement between Snohomish County and the Lodging Tax Advisory Committee (LTAC) endorsed project, Ignite Robotics - 2026 Ignite the Northwest Signature Event at an amount of not to exceed $25,000.00
BACKGROUND: On December 17, 2025, Snohomish County Council approved the 2026 Local Hotel/Motel Fund Round 1 Grants Expenditure Plan, which included funding thirty-one (31) projects at the levels recommended by the Snohomish County Lodging Tax Advisory Committee (LTAC). The attached contract (P-25-15) has a value of $25,000 and is within the Executive’s authority to execute without further Council involvement as a result of its approval per Motion 25-548. This agreement uses a boilerplate format that has been developed with, and reviewed by, both Prosecuting Attorney and Risk Management staff.
