EXECUTIVE RECOMMENDATION: Approved
PURPOSE: Administrative Budget Change (a reallocation of monies between objects of expenditure within the same appropriation unit (program)) within Parks Construction Fund 309 - Regional Program 46. In total $200,000 will be transferred within the Regional Program 46 to shift mitigation funding from the Kayak Point 103 DAC to the Thomas Eddy 311 DAC, to provide mitigation funding for the Group 2 (Recreation) costs of SWM's Thomas' Eddy Park Habitat Restoration project that Parks is covering. At the same time we will be moving $200,000 of REET2 funding from Thomas Eddy 311 DAC to the Kayak Point 103 DAC, to keep funding amount whole within both funds.
BACKGROUND: Between Regional Program 46 - Transferring $200,000 prior year Mitigation dollars from Kayak Pt-Park Mit-Constr Svcs (309-51094610336599) to Thomas Eddy-Park Mit-Constr Svcs (309-51094631136599). This is needed to complete the new Thomas Eddy Park Habitat Restoration project that SWM is working on but Parks is responsible for Group 2 Recreation work. We will also move $200,000 of REET2 funding from Thomas Eddy-REET2-ConstrSvcs to Kayak Pt-REET2-Constr Svcs, to keep each fund whole.
