PURPOSE: Executive Approval for Grant Modification #2 to Decrease 2024 HIDTA Funding
BACKGROUND: The 2024 HIDTA grant award G24NW0001A supports the Snohomish Regional Drug Task Force. The total award amount prior to Modification #2 was $173,078.00.
The Task Force submitted a discretionary funding request of $5,000.00 to HIDTA, which was approved. Of these funds, only $4,209.08 was utilized for the special project, leaving an unspent balance of $790.92.
Modification #2 decreases the grant award by $790.92, resulting in a final award amount of $172,317.08. This modification will finalize and close the grant.
At this time, the Sheriff is requesting Executive approval of Modification #2 to reduce the 2024 HIDTA grant G24NW0001A by $790.92, establishing the final award amount at $172,317.08.
