EXECUTIVE RECOMMENDATION: Approved
PURPOSE: To obtain Executive approval of Change Order 30 to Marpac Construction.
BACKGROUND: The County and Marpac Construction entered into an agreement on December 18th, 2024, for the construction phase of the New Start Center of Everett. Electrical panels B1 and B2 need to be relocated to fit with the additional electrical gear being installed in the room. The existing wiring was not long enough to reach the new location. Alternate was to rerun all of the circuits from the nearest connection points. Using the gutter to splice on additional length is a faction of the cost of rewiring everything to the two panels. The cost of the change order was negotiated down from $28,245.
