PURPOSE: Add amendment 1 to task 2 for Jacobs to perform work on SAF Temp site
BACKGROUND:
Snohomish County Facilities (COUNTY) has a project underway to develop an interim SAF R&D Facility within a leased parcel at Snohomish County Airport - Paine Field (see figure below). Task Order #2 developed a conceptual design for the facility. Amendment 1 to Task Order #2 provides authorization for final design activities needed to prepare the interim facility, including an up to 33,000 SF storage yard and approximately 5,000 SF proposed indoor office/lab space (Suite N/O), for program implementation under Snohomish County Job Order Contracting (JOC) construction mechanisms or under existing County On-Call Construction Contracts. Under this task order, JACOBS ENGINEERING GROUP INC. (CONSULTANT) will provide preliminary design, final design, permitting, quote support and support during construction. The project design and construction will be completed in two (2) phases. Phase 1 will include improvements required for immediate occupancy of Suite N/O and full-build out of the storage yard. Phase 1.5 will include improvements required for full build-out of Suite N/O. This scope covers phase 1 only. Phase 1.5 services will be provided under an amendment to this task order once the full scope is understood.
