PURPOSE: Authorize the lodging-tax Hotel-Motel Funding Agreement between Snohomish County and the Lodging Tax Advisory Committee (LTAC) endorsed project, HSDA - 2025 Downtown Snohomish WinterFest & Sound Publishing at an amount of not to exceed $11,825.
BACKGROUND: On January 22, 2025, Snohomish County Council approved the 2025 Local Hotel/Motel Fund Grants Expenditure Plan, which included funding forty-five projects at the levels recommended by the Snohomish County Lodging Tax Advisory Committee (LTAC). The attached contract (P-25-23 and P-25-24) has a value of $11,825 and is within the Executive’s authority to execute without further Council involvement as a result of its approval per Motion 25-006. This agreement uses a boilerplate format that has been developed with, and reviewed by, both Prosecuting Attorney and Risk Management staff.
