PURPOSE: Approval of Amendment 1 to CSEM Funding Agreement CW2252277.
BACKGROUND: On 8/15/2023 Snohomish County entered into an agreement with Snohomish County PUD to participate in their Strategic Commercial Energy Management (CSEM) program, where we earn incentives for conserving energy and sharing energy information. The original contract period began on July 1, 2023 and ended on December 30, 2025. The amendment extends the contract period until December 31, 2027. The amendment increases the incentive rate from 0.025 cents per kilowatt to 0.08 cents per kilowatt of verified energy savings. The incentive caps remain unchanged.
