PURPOSE: To obtain Executive approval of Amendment 18 of RFP-23-20SR with Washington Alarm.
BACKGROUND: Snohomish County and Washington Alarm Inc. entered into an agreement on December 10, 2020, for Security & Fire Monitoring/Repair Services. During the term of the contract, 17 amendments have been processed for various additional services and the addition of new site locations. Amendment 18 seeks to extend the contract for the remaining two-year with a new expiration date of December 9, 2027. The request is to expedite as the contract expiration date is December 9, 2025 and Facilities requires continuous monitoring of Fire and Security alarm systems.
