PURPOSE: Executive signature on the Federal Funding Accountability and Transparency Act (FFATA) Data Collection Form is a required form for federal grant agreements.
BACKGROUND: Snohomish County Surface Water Management’s Marine Resources Committee (MRC) was awarded two federal grants from the Northwest Straits Commission, via subaward from WA Dept of Ecology. One grant funds MRC Operations and Snohomish County Derelict Vessel Assessment, and the other funds marine vegetation outreach and surveys. The FFATA form itself does not have any fiscal implications, and simply serves to indicate that Snohomish County has a Unique Entity Identifier (UEI) and a System for Award Management (SAM) account with the federal government. This helps WDFW comply with the Federal Funding Accountability and Transparency Act.
