PURPOSE: To obtain Executive approval of the Professional Services Agreement with Horeco, Inc.
BACKGROUND: Facilities and Fleet are entering into an emergency agreement with Horeco, Inc. to replace two failed/close to failing Air Cooled Condensing Units at the Snohomish County Medical Examiner. The unit #3 is currently non-operational and unit #4 is near end-of-life for the unit and is performing the functions of both units #3 and #4, putting more stress on unit #4. Both units provide vital temperature control for the small body cooler and decomposition room which require strict environmental temperature regulation and need immediate replacement.
