PURPOSE: Executive approval and signature of the Federal Funding Accountability and Transparency Act (FFATA) Data Collection Form is a required form for federal grant agreements.
BACKGROUND: Snohomish County Surface Water Management was awarded a federal grant from the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), via subaward from WA Dept of Fish and Wildlife (WDFW). This grant is funding SWM’s StreamWise Program, specifically development of social marketing outreach to streamside landowners. The FFATA form itself does not have any fiscal implications, and simply serves to indicate that Snohomish County has a Unique Entity Identifier (UEI) and a System for Award Management (SAM) account with the federal government. This helps WDFW comply with the Federal Funding Accountability and Transparency Act.
