EXECUTIVE RECOMMENDATION: Approved
PURPOSE: Amend the Interlocal Agreement for Special Weapons and Tactics Team (Region 1 SWAT) cooperation to add the City of Marysville.
BACKGROUND: In 2014, the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office and the Everett Police Department entered into an agreement to form the Region 1 SWAT Team. In 2017, the agreement was modified to add the Lake Stevens Police Department. The original agreement was for one (1) year with two five (5) year extensions. That agreement with extensions expired on January 15th, 2025. The agreement was updated in February of 2025 (ECAF 2025-0583)
