PURPOSE: Approval of Professional Services Agreement between Snohomish County and Clean Harbors Environmental Services, Inc. for Antifreeze collection services.
BACKGROUND:
- Public Works Solid Waste Division has collected Antifreeze at several of their facilities since 2021. The original agreement expired in August 2025 and PW wishes to continue this service. -PW completed an informal competition per SCC 3.04.201(2) and POL-1733. Clean Harbors was the lowest responsible bidder at $1 per gallon. - An agreement between Snohomish County and Clean Harbors Environmental Services, Inc. was negotiated. The total budget for this ECAF is $40,000 over two years. The annual anticipated cost is $20,000.
