PURPOSE: Authorize the lodging tax Hotel Motel Funding Agreement between Snohomish County and the Lodging Tax Advisory Committee (LTAC) endorsed project, Puget Sound Regional Bridge Tournament - 2025 American Contract Bridge League.
BACKGROUND: On January 22, 2025, Snohomish County Council approved the 2025 Local Hotel/Motel Fund Grants Expenditure Plan, which included forty-five projects at the levels by the Snohomish County Lodging Tax Advisory Committee (LTAC). The attached (P-25-01) has a value of $10,000 and is within the Executive’s authority to execute without further Council involvement as a result of its approval per Motion-25-006. This agreement uses a boilerplate format that has been developed with, and reviewed by, both Prosecuting Attorney and Risk Management staff.
