PURPOSE: Enter agreement with ODAT Services LLC for peer navigation support for unhoused populations who use drugs. This Agreement is the product of County RFP No. RFP-24-0327JM Certified Peer Support Specialist for Unhoused Populations Who Use Drugs.
BACKGROUND: Peer Navigator will provide non-stigmatizing, non-judgmental support to people who use drugs (PWUD) in Snohomish County, especially to those who are unhoused or at risk of becoming unhoused. The Peer Navigator will assist people with substance use and mental health challenges find and access services in Snohomish County and will be responsible for providing a range of services to clients of various backgrounds in a community setting. They will collaborate with clients to achieve their personal goals, which may include reducing harm while using substances, establishing recovery from substance use, or support those in early recovery and will assist clients in completing referrals to treatment services.
