PURPOSE: My Dream and Plan to Achieve It! Is an empowering training for Everett middle and high school students. (9 schools). Students will do vital work in diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) within their schools. Students ignite positive change by conducting trainings, raise awareness, or celebrate the rich tapestry of our community. Created and led by students, these are unique and transformative projects that will further support Snohomish County’s journey toward inclusivity and understanding.
BACKGROUND: The Office of Social Justice has been directed to provide community investment funding to BIPOC non-profit organizations operating within Snohomish County.
