PURPOSE: Nashi Immigrants Health Board serves Ukrainian and Russian speaking immigrants and refugees by providing vital services and connections to resources. Nashi provides health education/navigation and peer support mental health services for Ukrainian refugee clients with strict eligibility requirements based on date of arrival and immigration status. Nashi aims to provide 70 clients (regardless of eligibility status) with health education/navigation/peer support services.
BACKGROUND: The Office of Social Justice has been directed to provide community investment funding to BIPOC non-profit organizations operating within Snohomish County.
