PURPOSE: Approve CPI Increase to Rates for 2026; Extend Term to December 31, 2026
BACKGROUND: The county signed an agreement with Aramark Corrections Services in 2021 under RFP 35-19BC to provide food management services at the Snohomish County Jail. Per the agreement, the term may be extended for two (2) one (1) year terms and the cost for meals shall increase on January 1 of each subsequent year by change in CPI. This amendment will extend the term of the agreement by one year to December 31, 2026 and increases the cost based on CPI (3.90%).
