PURPOSE: Share the department’s 2023 annual report with the Executive and Council.
BACKGROUND: Emergency Management has routinely provided its annual report to the Executive and Council. That became a requirement after the Council in 2019 approved the Emergency Management Coordinating Committee. SCC 2.36.085 (5) directs that “the work of the committee shall be provided to the Executive and Council annually, as part of Emergency Management’s annual report.”
